For some odd reason our elected officials are treated like celebrities rather than employees who have been given an assignment. It’s a strange concept to say the least. This is why our children need to be introduced to our Constitution at the elementary school level and study it thoroughly all the way through high school. By the time that they graduate high school, each student should be WELL versed in their rights as American citizens as well as having a complete grasp and understanding of the intended and proper function of our Federal Government. That study should also include a comprehensive study of the Federalist Papers and “Original Intent” so they won’t be fooled by the Progressive media.

I also agree with your comment on an “awakening”. The Progressive/Socialists have been very cleaver and patient with putting the American Spirit to sleep with their utopial lullabies; so we need to be equally patient and persistent in our efforts to reintroduce the concepts of liberty to the people so we can take this country back from those who are trying to destroy her.
